How Much Can You Overpay on Your TSB Mortgage?
This guide is for general information only and does not provide financial advice. Check your lender’s terms before overpaying, as early repayment charges may apply. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
TSB says you can repay up to 10% of your mortgage balance each year without having to pay the charge, and that some products have a higher limit. It says the maximum is calculated using the balance as at 1 January of the year you make the repayment. Where there is no early repayment charge period, or it has expired, it says you can repay the loan in full or in part whenever you want.
Lender terms change, and your own mortgage offer is what applies to you. This page was checked on 30 September 2026 against TSB’s own page, linked below.
