How Much Can You Overpay on Your Virgin Money Mortgage?

This guide is for general information only and does not provide financial advice. Check your lender’s terms before overpaying, as early repayment charges may apply. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Virgin Money says that, while in the initial product period (for example a fixed rate), you can make overpayments of up to 10% of your mortgage balance per calendar year without an Early Repayment Charge. It says that with its flexible mortgages you can make unlimited, free-of-charge overpayments, provided the mortgage is not redeemed in full.

Lender terms change, and your own mortgage offer is what applies to you. This page was checked on 30 September 2026 against Virgin Money’s own page, linked below.
